How Can I Be Saved?
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)
God's Word says we all have sinned. The first step is to recognize you are a sinner . But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ died for your sins! You must believe that Jesus Christ is the virgin born, living son of God, that he died for your sins on the cross, and that God raised him from the dead on the third day, and that he now is at the right hand side of the father making intercession for all who would give their lives to him. Believe this and then pray this sample prayer (but use your own words from your heart) "Dear God, I'm a sinner and I've done many things wrong, but I'm willing to turn from my sins. Jesus, will you forgive me of all my sins, and come into my heart and save me. And from this day on I will serve you and only you. My life I give to you Jesus"! If you pray this prayer and mean it and will live for him, then Jesus will save you by faith. It truly is faith in Jesus Christ that gives you access to God's wonderful grace. (Romans 5: 1-2) Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, the only way to make it to heaven. John 14:6 says: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If you prayed this prayer and gave your life to Jesus Christ, please e-mail us or write and let us know. Becoming a Christian is the first big step to a new beginning, but not the only one. Now you need to get baptized to show God you meant what you said and so the whole world can know you are now a follower of Jesus Christ and you need to find a good bible believing church and become an active member if possible. There is so much you can do to grow in the Lord, and to help others to come to know Jesus Christ.
If you have just prayed and received Jesus into your heart and your wondering "Now What" please contact us so that we can begin to minister to you and to disciple you. If you are now saved, then you will take up your cross and follow him.
